Is the MOT reminder really free?

Completely. Leave a reg and an email and we'll nudge you before the MOT is due. There's no charge and no account needed. We make our money on the full £5 history report, which is a separate thing you only buy if you want it.

When will you email me?

Once you've confirmed, we send a heads-up about a month out, then a couple of shorter reminders as the date gets close, and a final one if it reaches the due day. That's it; we don't email you for anything else.

Why do I have to confirm by email first?

To make sure the address is really yours and really wants the reminders. It's a legal requirement for this kind of email in the UK, and it keeps typos and other people's addresses off our list. If you don't click the link, nothing is ever sent.

My car is nearly new, so why won't it let me set a reminder?

Cars don't need their first MOT until they're three years old, so there's no due date to remind you about yet. Come back once the first test is booked and we'll have a date to work with.

How do I stop the reminders?

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and it takes effect straight away. You can re-subscribe any time by setting the reminder up again.
