What we collect

To run the service we store: your email address and name when you create an account; the registrations you check and the reports produced; and records of your payments (handled by Stripe; we never see your card number). We also keep ordinary server logs for security.

What we use it for

Providing your reports, taking payment, sending the emails you'd expect (receipts, password resets, your reports), and keeping the service secure. We don't sell your data, and we don't send marketing you haven't asked for.

Vehicle data

Vehicle history data comes from third-party providers and relates to the vehicle, not to any person. Checks are anonymous: the registered keeper is not told a check has taken place.

Cookies

We use one strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark theme choice. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting data

Reports stay in your account so you can return to them. If you'd like your account and its data deleted, email us from the account's address and we'll remove it, keeping only what payment regulations require us to retain.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact support@ukvehicleaudit.co.uk for any of these and we'll respond within a month.
